About

Green Elephant is situated in Cape Town’s student area – Observatory. We are the closest residence to Groote Schuur Hospital and a 5-minute bus ride from the University of Cape Town. Public transport, shops, bars and restaurants are all a short walk away.

Green Elephant offers budget accommodation to medical interns, volunteers, students and working folk needing budget accommodation.
We have been running since 1994 and have 3 houses. The main house has the dorm rooms, a BBQ area and a swimming pool. The other two houses have the twin and single private rooms. All the houses have unlimited Wi-Fi.
